offensive play, and i mean that in terms of offense/defense, we've seen from the white house in a long time. and for those of us who paid close attention two years ago, it's very much an echo of president obama's major vision for the country, is it not? >> no question about it. it's been his vision really throughout the time he's been in public life. i remember interviewing president obama about income inequality in the fall of 2007. what he was doing in this speech is making a broad argument for government action across the board, not just on things like the minimum wage, but also domestic investments and infrastructure and education, job training. also his health care law. he's always seen the aforfordab care act as one element of an agenda to give a foundation of stability and security economically under people as they try to get into the middle class. he was reiterating that argument today. as you said, the shift to a more offensive argument shows how key it was to get that website working by the december 1st deadline because that is something that allows the administration to shift and

, trials are very challenging. especially when there's this defense of consensual sex. it's going to be your word against his word. please be prepared. but to say your going to be raked over the coals because this is a famous football player is ridiculous. when you look at the case and exactly what the prosecutor said, the chief prosecutor, keep in mind he said when we bring cases, we have to, quote, have a reasonable likelihood of a conviction. what that tells me is perhaps they think something happened but they can't prove it, and that is the burden of a prosecutor. it's not what happened. it's what you can prove. when you look at the facts of the case, you're talking about a girl who says she had five to six shots of alcohol, whose memory was very broken. that in any circumstance, regardless of whether or not the suspect is a football player, a famous one, it is very difficult to prove a case like that. >> nevertheless, he's facing no charges. jamaal anderson, he is a red-shirt freshman. first year playing. if he were to win the heisman, we were saying johnny football was the f

leader know that will be our position. in addition, i do not see on there the defense authorization bill. i know that's not the majority leader's -- we passed the defense authorization bill through here. i'm hopeful that the senate will move on that. intelligence authorization. the senate has passed, mr. speaker, a comprehensive immigration reform bill. they passed it with 68 votes. we are very disappointed on this side of the aisle that either the senate bill has not been put on the floor. our bill, h.r. 15, which is a bipartisan bill which there are republican sponsors of that bill, or a bill that has -- one of the bills, one of the four bills that's been reported out of the committee which was supported by the republican party in the judiciary committee and reported out four bills, they have not been brought to the floor. we believe that comprehensive immigration reform is a critically important action for this congress to take this year, now. we have options available. we would hope that any one of those four -- three options would be brought to the table, or if you count four bills,
